Shisha Maestro / Attendant
Location: Al Beiruti Qatar
Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Shisha Supervisor
Overview:
The Shisha Maestro is an expert in creating an exceptional and authentic shisha experience for our guests. You are responsible for the preparation, serving, and maintenance of shisha, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Preparation: Prepare and assemble shisha mixtures (mo'assel) to perfection using various flavors, coals, and equipment, tailored to guest preferences.
- Guest Service & Presentation: Present and serve shisha to guests tableside with flair and hospitality. Educate guests on flavor options and provide recommendations.
- Maintenance & Hygiene: Maintain, clean, and sanitize all shisha equipment, hoses, and mouthpieces after each use according to strict health standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of shisha flavors, coals, and equipment. Inform management of needs and assist with inventory control.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all shisha service complies with local regulations and restaurant safety policies. Handle hot coals with extreme care.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the waitstaff and management to coordinate timing and enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shisha Preparer/Attendant in a reputable restaurant or lounge.
- Extensive knowledge of shisha flavors, preparation techniques, and different types of equipment (e.g., Khalil Mamoon).
- Excellent customer service skills and a presentable appearance.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and cleanliness standards related to shisha service.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
