About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill or long-term ventilated patients. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and ensure the well-being and dignity of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or ICU/CCU setting.
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients, ensuring optimal ventilator settings and patient response.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and operate specialized medical equipment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all infection control, health, safety, and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Valid and transferable UAE nursing license (DOH, DHA, or MOH) is mandatory.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hands-on experience in an ICU, CCU, or Long-Term Care facility.
- Strong preference for candidates with current or previous experience in managing long-term care ventilated patients.
- Proficiency in advanced cardiac life support, ventilator management, and other critical care skills.
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to relocate to Al Ain.
