Restaurant Manager
Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Reports to: General Manager / Operations Director

Job Overview:
The Restaurant Manager is the strategic leader responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. You will oversee all daily operations, drive financial performance, develop the team, and ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. You will embody our brand and culture while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership & Excellence:
- Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless service.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all service aspects.
- Ensure compliance with all KSA health, safety, and sanitation regulations (Municipality, SFDA).
- Manage restaurant appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness to the highest standards.
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and urgency.
2. Financial Management & Profitability:
- Develop and manage the annual budget, P&L statements, and financial forecasts.
- Analyze sales reports, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor costs, and other key financial metrics.
- Implement cost-control measures for inventory, supplies, and labor without compromising quality.
- Drive revenue through strategic upselling, promotions, and enhancing average check size.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate supply agreements.
3. Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise all restaurant staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff liaison).
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans.
- Foster a positive, motivating, and collaborative work environment based on respect.
- Address employee relations issues promptly and in accordance with company policy and KSA labor law.
4. Guest Experience & Marketing:
- Champion a culture of guest-centric service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews (Google, Tripadvisor, etc.) and guest feedback.
- Work with marketing teams to develop and execute local marketing initiatives and events.
- Build relationships with regular guests and the local community to enhance reputation.
5. Inventory & Supply Chain:
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storage.
- Conduct regular stock takes and minimize waste and shrinkage.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all food and beverage products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 3 years in a Manager role.
- Proven track record of managing a successful, high-volume restaurant.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and KSA regulations.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
