MAINTENANCE ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

JOB PURPOSE:
To lead and supervise all electrical maintenance activities for a fleet of cranes (likely mobile, crawler, and tower cranes), ensuring electrical systems are reliable, safe, and compliant with standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of electricians and technicians in the preventive and corrective maintenance of crane electrical systems (AC/DC drives, PLCs, control panels, power circuits, safety devices, and instrumentation).
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults in crane control systems, drive motors, hoists, and slew mechanisms.
- Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all KSA electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and prepare technical requisitions.
- Coordinate with mechanical teams for integrated repairs.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and performance management for the electrical team.
- Prepare daily reports, fault analysis reports, and maintenance documentation.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Diploma with extensive experience.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the CRANE, Heavy Lifting, or Heavy Equipment industry.
- Expert-level knowledge of crane-specific electrical systems: variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs from Siemens/Allen-Bradley etc.), remote control systems, and safety relays.
- Strong experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
