TRUCK MECHANIC (MOBILE CRANE / HEAVY DUTY TRUCK MECHANIC)

Salary: 1,500 SAR Basic + 300 SAR Food Allowance (Total: 1,800 SAR per month)
Accommodation & Transportation: Typically provided by company (to be confirmed upon offer).
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks, mobile crane carriers, and related hydraulic and chassis systems to ensure maximum operational availability and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective repairs, and major overhauls on diesel engines (e.g., Mercedes, Volvo, MAN), transmissions, axles, and brake systems of heavy-duty trucks and crane carriers.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems specific to mobile cranes, including outriggers, steering, and lifting mechanisms.
- Conduct thorough inspections in line with manufacturer and company safety standards.
- Accurately diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems in a timely manner.
- Complete all service reports, maintenance logs, and parts requisitions accurately.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with KSA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in field breakdowns and emergency repairs as required.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic, with specific experience in vehicles used in crane, heavy lifting, or construction equipment industries.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, powertrains, air brake systems, and electrical systems.
- Must have proven experience with hydraulic systems on heavy mobile equipment.
- ITI or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical trade is preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Physically fit to handle heavy parts and work in varying site conditions.
