The Opportunity:
We are seeking friendly, polished, and customer-focused Waitresses to join our front-of-house team. You will be the face of our hotel's dining experience, providing exceptional service to our guests in our restaurant, bar, and during outdoor dining events. Your role is crucial in creating memorable moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide warm, professional, attentive, and efficient table service to all guests.
- Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen/bar, and serve them promptly.
- Product Knowledge: Have an in-depth knowledge of the menu, wine list, cocktails, and daily specials to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
- Table Maintenance: Set up, clear, and clean tables according to service standards. Maintain a tidy and inviting dining area.
- Billing: Handle guest bills accurately using the POS system, process payments, and provide change.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and communicate any guest preferences or allergies.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hotel policies regarding service, grooming, hygiene, and safety.
- Upselling: Politely promote daily specials, premium beverages, and desserts to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Waitress in a hotel, upscale restaurant, or boutique cafe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of Italian, French, or German is a significant advantage.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team, multitask, and remain calm during busy periods.
- Customer-oriented approach with a problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
