Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Fitout / Construction

Salary Range: 7,000 AED to 10,000 AED per month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing costs and contracts for our fitout and construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for fitout and construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning.
- Manage procurement processes, including tender documentation, analysis, and subcontractor negotiations.
- Conduct site measurements, valuations, and prepare interim payment applications (IPCs).
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare cost/value reconciliation reports.
- Handle subcontractor payments, final accounts, and contract close-out procedures.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Provide financial progress reports to management and clients.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum Experience: 4 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE.
- Sector Experience: Strong background in Fitout and/or Construction projects.
- Note: Specific experience in Fitout (commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential interiors) will be a significant advantage.
- Licensure: A valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and industry-standard QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift).
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Must be highly organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
