Finishing Engineer (Fitout/Construction)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary Range: 7,000 AED - 8,000 AED per month

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-quality finishing works on our fitout and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site finishing activities for interior fitout and construction projects.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, material schedules, and method statements for finishing works.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all finishing works (e.g., joinery, wall cladding, flooring, painting, false ceilings, MEP fixtures) comply with design specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, prepare daily reports, and ensure adherence to the project timeline.
- Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with all UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Mandatory Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Finishing Engineer, specifically within the UAE market.
- Extensive hands-on experience in interior fitout and construction projects (commercial, residential, or hospitality).
- Strong proficiency in detailing and preparing shop drawings for all finishing elements.
- In-depth knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design/construction software.
