Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and international quality standards. The role is critical in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor the quality of civil works (concrete, masonry, steel, finishes, etc.).
- Manage material submittals and approvals, and conduct inspections of delivered materials.
- Coordinate and witness all required tests (concrete slump, cube tests, soil tests, etc.) and maintain records.
- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Liaise with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals (IRN, MIR).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation for project handover.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on construction projects in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and international standards (BS, ACI, ASTM).
- Experience with authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.) is required.
- Certification in ISO 9001:2015 QMS is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
