About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Painter to join our maintenance and finishing team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to walls, ceilings, equipment, and buildings. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a steady hand to deliver a smooth, professional finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and consistencies (oil-based, water-based, epoxy, etc.).
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Erect scaffolding or ladders safely to reach high areas.
- Protect surrounding areas (floors, furniture, fixtures) with drop cloths and masking tape.
- Perform cosmetic touch-ups and renovation painting for villas, offices, or industrial plants.
- Advise management on material quantities and types required for specific jobs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Experience with decorative finishes, textures, and epoxy flooring is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety procedures when working at heights and using chemicals.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Preferred: Experience in the UAE/GCC region.
