Job Title: Executive – QHSE
Job Summary
The Executive – QHSE is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment management systems. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Quality (Q)
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001
- Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits
- Monitor quality performance and initiate corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure documentation and process standardization
Health & Safety (H&S)
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses
Environment (E)
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards (ISO 14001)
- Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource usage
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the organization
- Maintain environmental records and reports
General Duties
- Develop and update QHSE policies and procedures
- Maintain records and prepare reports for management
- Coordinate with different departments for compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with regulatory authorities when required
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Safety Management or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in QHSE or related role
Skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and training abilities
- Attention to detail and documentation skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations and audits
