Job Title: Cook Assistant (Korean / Continental / Grill & Stir Fry)
Job Summary:
The Cook Assistant supports chefs in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes including Korean, Continental, grill, and stir-fry cuisines. This role involves food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting in daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food service.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking Support:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning, etc.)
- Support chefs in cooking Korean, Continental, grill, and stir-fry dishes
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Prepare basic dishes under supervision when required
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
Kitchen Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and workstations
- Assist in stock control and inventory management
- Receive and store deliveries properly
Food Safety & Hygiene:
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and cooked foods
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Korean, Continental, grill, or stir-fry cooking (preferred)
- Previous kitchen or assistant cook experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good physical stamina

- Certificate or training in culinary arts
