Job Title: ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist)
Job Summary
An ENT Specialist (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor) is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This role includes both medical and surgical care, aiming to improve patients’ hearing, breathing, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to ear, nose, throat, head, and neck
- Manage common conditions such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, hearing loss, and allergies
- Perform surgical procedures (e.g., tonsillectomy, septoplasty, ear surgeries)
- Conduct patient examinations and review medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (audiometry, imaging, lab tests)
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Educate patients on preventive care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS with MS/DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) or equivalent
- Valid medical license/registration with relevant medical council
- Proven experience in ENT practice and procedures
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent diagnostic and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and patient care skills
