Job Title: Arabic Teacher
Job Summary:
The Arabic Teacher is responsible for teaching the Arabic language, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering an appreciation for the Arabic language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching & Instruction
- Plan and deliver effective Arabic language lessons
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure
- Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning levels
2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum
- Use appropriate teaching materials and resources
- Integrate cultural elements of Arabic-speaking countries
3. Student Assessment
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and activities
- Provide constructive feedback and support improvement
- Maintain records of student progress
4. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
- Encourage student participation and interaction
- Manage classroom time effectively
5. Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff
6. Co-curricular Activities
- Organize language-related activities such as debates, storytelling, or cultural events
- Encourage participation in competitions and school programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Education, or related field
- Teaching qualification/certification (as per local regulations)
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written)
- Prior teaching experience preferred
