Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Joinery Foreman to supervise and coordinate joinery and carpentry works on-site. The candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily joinery and carpentry activities at the site
- Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and specifications
- Allocate tasks to carpenters and joinery workers effectively
- Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with requirements
- Monitor usage of materials and minimize wastage
- Ensure proper installation of doors, cabinets, furniture, paneling, and fittings
- Maintain safety standards and enforce site safety rules
- Report progress, issues, and delays to management
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Carpentry, Joinery, or related field
- Proven experience as a Joinery Foreman or Senior Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and understand drawings and plans
