Job Title: Civil Handyman
Job Summary:
A Civil Handyman is responsible for performing general civil maintenance and minor repair works in buildings and facilities. This includes tasks related to masonry, carpentry, painting, and basic structural repairs to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out minor civil repair works such as plastering, brickwork, and concrete patching
- Perform painting, polishing, and surface finishing tasks
- Repair doors, windows, locks, and basic carpentry works
- Fix tiles, flooring issues, and minor structural defects
- Conduct routine inspections of building areas and identify maintenance needs
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas after tasks
- Assist other technical teams when required (MEP works, etc.)
- Follow safety guidelines and site regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Trade Certificate or relevant experience in civil works
- Proven experience as a handyman, mason, or civil maintenance worker
- Basic knowledge of masonry, carpentry, and painting techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good physical fitness for manual work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in facility management or building maintenance
- Knowledge of waterproofing and minor repair techniques
- Basic understanding of safety practices
