Job Title: Civil Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
A Civil Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance, engineering support, and product/application guidance to clients, sales teams, and project teams. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, resolving engineering issues, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and engineering guidance to clients and internal teams
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, reports, and presentations
- Coordinate with sales, design, and project teams to deliver suitable engineering solutions
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, materials, and applications
- Conduct site visits and inspections when required
- Support project execution by resolving technical issues and recommending corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and company procedures
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and records
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and product demonstrations
- Provide training and technical advice to customers and staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience in technical support, construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects preferred
- Knowledge of construction materials, structural systems, and engineering standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software is an advantage
