Job Title: Project HSSE Management Support (Health, Safety, Security & Environment)
Job Summary:
A Project HSSE Management Support professional assists in implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) systems within project operations. The role supports the HSSE Manager in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of HSSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans
- Assist in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis (JSA/JHA)
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulations
- Support incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis
- Maintain HSSE documentation, records, and reporting systems
- Assist in conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and walkthroughs
- Support emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities
- Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure closure
- Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and management on HSSE matters
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly HSSE performance reports
- Promote awareness of environmental protection and waste management practices
- Support security procedures and site access control measures where applicable
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSSE certification preferred
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of HSSE management systems and regulatory requirements
