Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
An Electrical Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and engineering support related to electrical systems, equipment, and applications. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, reviewing specifications, assisting clients and project teams, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and electrical engineering guidance to clients and internal teams
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist in selecting suitable electrical systems, equipment, and solutions
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, project, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, calculations, and documentation
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities when required
- Conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and product demonstrations
- Provide technical training and application support to customers and staff
- Maintain technical records, reports, and project documentation
- Recommend improvements and corrective actions for system performance and reliability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in technical support, electrical systems, power distribution, industrial projects, or maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of electrical design principles, equipment, and safety standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Office, or related engineering software is an advantage
