Job Title: HVAC Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
An HVAC Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance related to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The role involves supporting design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities while ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for HVAC systems including design, installation, and operation
- Review HVAC drawings, load calculations, specifications, and project documents
- Assist in selection of HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducts, and accessories
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend corrective solutions
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and balancing (T&C) activities
- Conduct site inspections and performance evaluations of HVAC systems
- Coordinate with project, design, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with HVAC standards, codes, and energy efficiency requirements
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project reviews
- Provide technical training and support to site engineers, technicians, and clients
- Assist in energy optimization and system performance improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in HVAC systems, MEP projects, or building services preferred
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, psychrometrics, and HVAC design principles
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, HAP, Revit MEP, or similar software is an advantage
