Job Summary:
A Market Development & Project Information professional is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, tracking upcoming projects, and gathering market intelligence to support business growth. The role involves analyzing market trends, maintaining project databases, supporting sales strategy, and providing accurate project information to management and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and track upcoming projects, tenders, and business opportunities in target markets
- Collect, analyze, and maintain market intelligence and competitor information
- Develop and update project databases and pipeline reports
- Support business development and sales teams with relevant project information
- Monitor industry trends, construction activities, and market developments
- Research potential clients, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers
- Prepare market analysis reports and business opportunity summaries
- Assist in lead generation and pre-qualification of projects
- Coordinate with internal departments to align project opportunities with company capabilities
- Support preparation of presentations, business proposals, and reports
- Maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and data sources
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of market and project updates to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in market research, business development, or project tracking preferred
- Knowledge of construction, industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors is an advantage
- Familiarity with CRM tools, databases, or project tracking systems is beneficial
