Job Title: Project Quality Management Support (QA/QC Support)
Job Summary:
A Project Quality Management Support professional assists in implementing and maintaining project quality management systems to ensure that all activities, materials, and deliverables meet required standards, specifications, and client expectations. The role supports the Quality Manager in inspections, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of project Quality Management System (QMS) and quality plans
- Assist in inspection and verification of materials, workmanship, and project activities
- Review project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements
- Maintain and control quality documentation, inspection records, and reports
- Support preparation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists
- Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and surveillance activities
- Assist in identifying non-conformities (NCRs) and tracking corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants on quality-related issues
- Support material receiving inspections and vendor quality compliance checks
- Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation
- Promote continuous improvement and best quality practices on site
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- QA/QC certifications (ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, ASQ, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and standards
