Job Title: Process & Piping Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
A Process & Piping Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and engineering support related to process systems, piping layouts, and industrial applications. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, supporting project execution, troubleshooting engineering issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for process and piping systems to clients and internal teams
- Review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and technical specifications
- Assist in selecting suitable piping materials, valves, fittings, and process equipment
- Coordinate with engineering, design, sales, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Support project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, calculations, and engineering documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and troubleshooting activities
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project reviews
- Provide technical training and product/application support to customers and staff
- Maintain technical records, drawings, and project documentation
- Recommend process improvements and corrective actions when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in process, piping, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects preferred
- Knowledge of piping systems, process engineering principles, and industrial standards
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, API, and related codes is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS, Plant 3D, or related engineering software preferred
