Job Title: Structural Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
A Structural Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical expertise and engineering support related to structural systems, construction materials, and project applications. The role involves assisting clients, sales teams, and project teams with technical solutions, design reviews, troubleshooting, and compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and structural engineering guidance to clients and internal teams
- Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist in recommending suitable structural solutions, products, and applications
- Coordinate with design, sales, and project teams to address technical issues
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and engineering documentation
- Conduct structural assessments, site inspections, and technical evaluations when required
- Ensure compliance with structural design codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Support project execution by resolving technical and application-related challenges
- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and project discussions
- Provide technical training and product/application support to customers and staff
- Maintain accurate technical records and project documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Previous experience in structural design, technical support, or construction projects preferred
- Knowledge of structural analysis, steel/concrete structures, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in structural engineering software and AutoCAD is an advantage
