Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Technical Support
Job Summary:
A Mechanical Engineer – Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and engineering support related to mechanical systems, products, and applications. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, reviewing specifications, assisting clients and project teams, and ensuring efficient implementation of engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and mechanical engineering guidance to clients and internal teams
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist in selecting suitable mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering solutions
- Coordinate with sales, design, production, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities when required
- Conduct site inspections and technical evaluations
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment and system-related issues and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and product demonstrations
- Provide technical training and support to customers and staff
- Maintain technical records and project documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in technical support, maintenance, manufacturing, HVAC, or industrial projects preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office, or related engineering software is an advantage
