Job Description: IT Manager – ERP & Infrastructure
Job Summary
The IT Manager – ERP & Infrastructure is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, IT infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, and technology services. The role ensures reliable IT operations, successful ERP implementation and support, system integration, data security, and continuous improvement of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Management & Support
- Manage the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of ERP systems.
- Oversee ERP modules including finance, HR, procurement, inventory, sales, projects, and operations.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Analyze business requirements and recommend ERP improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Manage ERP upgrades, integrations, data migration, and system performance optimization.
- Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, user access controls, and ERP security.
- Develop user guidelines, provide training, and support employees in effective ERP usage.
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage, and end-user systems.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network equipment.
- Manage network security, firewalls, VPNs, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure effective backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
IT Operations & Service Management
- Lead the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Manage IT asset inventory, software licensing, and vendor contracts.
- Monitor IT service performance and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, system manuals, and technical records.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry best practices.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement cybersecurity policies and controls to protect company systems and data.
- Monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with data protection requirements and information security standards.
- Conduct regular security reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate incident response activities and recovery procedures.
Team Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members.
- Prepare IT budgets, technology roadmaps, and improvement plans.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to support business growth.
- Collaborate with management and business departments to align IT strategies with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in IT management, ERP administration, and infrastructure operations.
- Proven experience managing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of servers, networks, databases, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in ERP implementation, integration, customization, and user support.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Microsoft, Cisco, or ERP-specific certifications are preferred.
