Job Summary:
The Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport employees, documents, materials, and goods as required. The role ensures timely transportation, vehicle safety, compliance with traffic regulations, and professional service while maintaining the company vehicle in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently for company transportation needs.
- Transport employees, visitors, documents, and materials to assigned locations.
- Follow daily schedules, assigned routes, and transportation instructions.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Collect and deliver documents, packages, and materials as instructed.
- Assist employees and visitors with professional and courteous transportation services.
- Ensure timely arrival at destinations and communicate any delays or route issues.
- Support administrative and operational tasks involving transportation when required.
- Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Ensure proper handling and security of company property and transported items.
- Follow company procedures related to vehicle usage, safety, and security.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Light Vehicle Driving License No. 3 (as applicable).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and documents.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile applications.
