🛠️ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble, install and dismantle formwork and shuttering systems according to drawings and specifications
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, braced and secured before concrete pouring
• Adjust and modify shuttering systems according to site requirements and tolerances
• Safely operate hand and power tools and formwork equipment
• Inspect work quality and report defects, misalignments or safety concerns
• Handle, store and maintain formwork materials and equipment properly
• Work with site teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow Health & Safety, site procedures, and PPE requirements
• Perform other related duties as required by management
✅ REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as a Shutterer / Steel Shutter Installer in the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, dimensions and site instructions
• Good knowledge of formwork systems and shuttering techniques
• Strong understanding of safe working practices
• Physically fit and capable of manual work in a demanding construction environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety standards
• English is a MUST
📌 CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY
🇲🇹 TCN candidates must have a valid Pre-Departure Course Certificate.
🎓 Course/Certificate: Skills Pass Malta
📋 CONTRACT CONDITIONS – ALL POSITIONS
⏰ Working Hours
40 hours per week. Hours worked over 40 hrs/week (173.33 hrs/month) are paid as overtime at 1.5× the base rate.
🎁 Bonus
4 bonuses of €135 each, paid in March, June, September, and December.
📅 Probation Period
3months's probation with a 1-year employment contract.
🏖️ Leave / Sick Leave
As per Maltese legislation:
• 24 days annual leave in addition to public holidays
• Paid sick leave up to 13 days
