Job Description: Sales Executive / Business Development Executive – Acoustic Link
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented, and customer-focused Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to drive business growth for Acoustic Link. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, identifying project opportunities, and promoting acoustic products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, a proactive approach to sales, and an interest or experience in acoustic solutions, interior products, construction, architecture, or building materials.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital platforms, industry contacts, and site visits.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Meet prospective clients to understand their acoustic requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Present Acoustic Link products and solutions to customers, consultants, architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, product presentations, and commercial offers.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and proposals and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary acoustic and interior solutions.
Client & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, developers, project managers, facility managers, and corporate clients.
- Understand client requirements, project specifications, budgets, timelines, and technical expectations.
- Provide timely responses to customer enquiries and ensure a high standard of service.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective solutions.
Project & Specification Sales
- Identify upcoming commercial, hospitality, residential, educational, healthcare, office, and other projects requiring acoustic solutions.
- Develop relationships with key project stakeholders at the specification and decision-making stages.
- Track project opportunities from initial enquiry through specification, quotation, negotiation, and order closure.
- Coordinate with technical and design teams to support product selection and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing product samples, technical information, specifications, and presentations where required.
- Conduct site visits and project meetings as necessary.
Market Development
- Research market trends, competitor activities, pricing, customer requirements, and new business opportunities.
- Identify emerging opportunities in acoustic treatment, soundproofing, interior design, and building solutions.
- Develop new customer segments and geographic markets as directed by management.
- Participate in exhibitions, industry events, networking activities, product demonstrations, and client presentations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Acoustic Link’s product portfolio and industry developments.
Order & Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with technical, design, procurement, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Communicate customer requirements accurately to relevant internal departments.
- Follow up on order status, production, delivery, installation, and project completion.
- Ensure product specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery expectations are accurately documented.
- Support customers throughout the sales and project execution process.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, customers, enquiries, quotations, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Update CRM and sales pipeline information regularly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track pending quotations, follow-ups, project stages, and expected closures.
- Provide management with regular updates on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, project sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Experience in acoustic products, interior solutions, building materials, construction, architecture, furniture, or related industries is an advantage.
- Experience working with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and developers is preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, project visits, and business development activities.
