About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to become the driving force behind the culinary and beverage operations at our iconic luxury 5-star hotel in Bucharest. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will take full ownership of all F&B outlets, including fine dining restaurants, bars, lounges, in-room dining, and expansive banqueting facilities. You will be the architect of our F&B strategy, balancing impeccable service with efficient kitchen operations, all while fostering a culture of excellence and motivation within your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the annual F&B business plan, budget, and marketing strategy to drive revenue, maximize profitability, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and presentation are consistently met or exceeded.
- Financial Acumen: Manage P&L statements, control costs (including inventory, payroll, and supplies), analyze financial reports, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets.
- Team Building & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a diverse, high-performing team. Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Guest Experience: Actively engage with guests to solicit feedback, address concerns promptly, and cultivate loyalty. Uphold the hotel's reputation for unparalleled service.
- Vendor & Kitchen Relations: Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen brigade to develop innovative menus, ensure quality control, and streamline kitchen-service coordination. Manage supplier relationships.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, sanitation, and legal regulations. Maintain brand and luxury standards.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or Director in a luxury 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant group.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of managing budgets, costs, and driving profitability.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, train, and develop a large, multicultural team.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, banqueting, beverage management, and current industry trends.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Romanian is a significant advantage.
- A dynamic, guest-oriented personality with impeccable presentation and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
