Electrician Supervisor / Foreman
Job Summary:
The Electrician Supervisor/Foreman will lead a team of industrial electricians and technicians. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and quality control of all electrical installation and maintenance work, ensuring it meets project schedules, budgets, and stringent technical/safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise the daily work of the electrical team.
- Interpret electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with other discipline foremen and project management to ensure integrated workflow.
- Oversee the installation of cable trays, conduits, wiring, and all electrical equipment.
- Ensure all terminations, loop checks, and commissioning activities are performed correctly.
- Manage tool and material inventories, requisition supplies, and control costs.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work complies with the Electrical Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
- Lead safety meetings, conduct risk assessments (MSJU), and enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Provide technical guidance, resolve on-site issues, and report daily progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Romanian Electrician Authorization (Category III or higher).
- Minimum 5-8 years of industrial electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role on major projects.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, from low-voltage control to medium-voltage distribution.
- Experience with commissioning and handover procedures is critical.
- Strong administrative skills for reporting, planning, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Technical college degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is a strong plus.
