Detailed Job Description:
A Helper is required to provide essential support to skilled tradespeople and construction teams. The primary responsibility is to assist with manual tasks, maintain a clean and safe worksite, and ensure materials and tools are readily available. This role is fundamental to the efficiency of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the worksite.
- Clean and prepare worksites, including removing debris, garbage, and potential hazards.
- Assist skilled workers (masons, carpenters, fitters) by fetching materials, mixing mortar, holding tools, and performing basic tasks as directed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring they are cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all on-site safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support the team with any other duties as required to complete the project efficiently.
