Door Furniture Technician
Basic Salary: 1,800 per month

Job Description:
A Door Furniture Technician specializes in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all hardware attached to doors, windows, and cabinets. This includes locks, hinges, handles, closers, panic bars, and access control systems, requiring both mechanical skill and an understanding of security and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, adjust, and repair various types of door hardware (mortise locks, cylindrical locks, hinges, door closers, exit devices).
- Fit and align doors and windows to ensure smooth operation.
- Cut and prepare recesses in doors and frames to accommodate hardware.
- Service and troubleshoot electronic access control systems, digital locks, and automatic doors (basic level).
- Make keys, re-key locks, and maintain master key systems.
- Ensure all hardware meets security, fire, and accessibility codes.
- Provide excellent finish and attention to detail for high-quality aesthetic results.
- Advise on appropriate hardware selections for different applications.
Requirements:
- Experience as a door hardware technician, locksmith, or related role.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (chisels, drills, routers).
- Knowledge of different lock types, materials, and brands.
- Good understanding of door types and their mechanisms.
- Patience, precision, and a methodical approach to work.
