Assistant Manager - SORA
Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant Operations
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Outlet Manager
Supervises: Team Leaders, Wait Staff, Bartenders, Baristas
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager for SORA is a dynamic and guest-centric leader responsible for supporting the Outlet Manager in all aspects of the daily operation. This role ensures the highest standards of service, profitability, and team performance are consistently achieved. The Assistant Manager acts as the manager-on-duty, resolves guest concerns, and upholds the unique brand identity of SORA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily shift operations, including opening/closing procedures, staffing, floor management, and workflow.
- Financial Performance: Assist in managing the outlet’s budget, controlling costs (labor, COGS), and driving revenue through upselling and exceptional service.
- Guest Experience: Actively engage with guests, solicit feedback, and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate the service team. Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional growth of team members.
- Quality & Standards: Enforce strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain impeccable presentation of the outlet, including ambiance, table settings, and cleanliness.
- Inventory & Administration: Manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and complete necessary administrative reports (sales, incidents, schedules).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, premium restaurant or lounge.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of F&B service, wine, and beverages.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS, reservations).
