Bus Driver
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and courteous Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and comfortably. The role involves following designated routes, maintaining schedules, ensuring passenger safety, and providing excellent customer service. This position may involve school, company, or public transport services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses to transport passengers on fixed routes or for chartered services.
- Conduct daily pre-departure safety checks (brakes, signals, tires, doors, emergency exits) and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to assigned timetables and routes, making announcements for major stops if required.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, especially the elderly, disabled, or children.
- Ensure all passengers comply with safety rules (e.g., wearing seatbelts, no standing while moving).
- Collect fares, issue tickets, or validate travel cards as per the service type.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and sanitized vehicle interior.
- Handle passenger inquiries professionally and resolve minor conflicts calmly.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, and maintain a defensive driving approach.
- Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Saudi Arabian Public Driver license for buses (رخصة قيادة عمومي - أ).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a bus driver, preferably in a similar operational environment (city, inter-city, school).
- Exemplary driving record with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with patience and a polite demeanor.
- Ability to manage groups of passengers and ensure a orderly environment.
- Good knowledge of KSA roads, traffic laws, and bus operations within the assigned city/region.
- Basic first aid knowledge is a significant advantage.
- Good physical and mental health.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Arabic; basic English is a plus.
