Job Description:
We require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. The QS will be responsible for cost control, budgeting, variation management, and ensuring the project's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies and project cost planning.
- Handle contract administration, including interpreting conditions of contract.
- Process interim payment applications from subcontractors and prepare claims for client submissions.
- Measure and value variations, site works, and prepare cost forecasts.
- Perform material quantity take-offs and procurements in coordination with the procurement team.
- Prepare final account statements and assist in settlement of disputes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and cost reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC) and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Professional membership (RICS, CIQS) is an advantage.
