The Document Controller will manage and control all project documentation to ensure systematic tracking, accurate filing, and compliance with project and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
- Establish and maintain document control procedures
- Track incoming and outgoing documents
- Maintain document logs and registers
- Ensure proper document numbering and revision control
Coordination
- Coordinate with engineers and consultants for timely submissions
- Monitor submittal schedules and approval processes
- Ensure distribution of approved drawings to relevant departments
System & Reporting
- Maintain electronic document management systems
- Archive project records upon completion
- Prepare document status and progress reports
- Ensure confidentiality and data security
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company document control standards
- Assist in audits and quality reviews
- Maintain backup and retrieval systems
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of experience in construction document control
- Proficiency in Aconex, EDMS, or similar systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
