Job Summary
The Civil Inspector will support the supervision team by conducting detailed inspections of civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections and verify work progress
- Inspect excavation, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring activities
- Verify finishing works including plastering, tiling, and waterproofing
- Ensure materials comply with approved submittals
- Monitor curing processes and quality standards
- Record inspection findings and maintain documentation
- Raise NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
- Participate in site meetings and coordination sessions
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of inspection experience in building construction
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures
- Ability to interpret construction drawings
- Strong communication and reporting skills
