Job Title: Procurement In-Charge
Job Summary:
The Procurement In-Charge is responsible for managing the organization’s purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of materials, goods, and services at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery terms. The role involves vendor management, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure purchased items meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain procurement records, documentation, and reports.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.
- Track market trends, pricing, and supply conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement/purchasing (typically 3–7+ years).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries.
- Knowledge of contract management.
- Strong analytical and cost-control abilities.
