Job Title: Assistant Teacher – Emirati National
Job Summary:
The Assistant Teacher (Emirati National) supports the lead teacher in delivering high-quality instruction and maintaining a positive classroom environment. The role also contributes to promoting UAE culture, values, and national identity while supporting student learning and school operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support
- Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Support individual students or small groups to enhance understanding
- Help prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays
2. Student Supervision & Welfare
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe, respectful environment
- Assist with classroom discipline and routines
- Support students’ social and emotional development
3. Administrative Support
- Help maintain attendance records and student files
- Assist with organizing classroom schedules and activities
- Support preparation of worksheets, assessments, and reports
4. Cultural & National Role
- Promote UAE values, traditions, and national identity among students
- Support activities related to UAE National Day, Flag Day, and other events
- Act as a cultural ambassador within the school environment
5. Communication & Collaboration
- Work closely with teachers and school staff
- Assist in communicating basic information to parents when required
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and events
6. School Activities
- Support extracurricular activities, trips, and school programs
- Assist in organizing events and student engagement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- UAE National (Emirati)
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Interest in education or early childhood development
- Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage
