Physiotherapist – Job Description
Role Summary
A Physiotherapist helps patients restore movement, reduce pain, and improve physical function after injury, illness, or disability. The role involves assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation using physical techniques and exercises.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment
- Evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, and medical history
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions and physical impairments
- Set treatment goals based on patient needs
2. Treatment & Rehabilitation
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Use techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
3. Pain Management
- Help patients manage pain and improve mobility
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and injury prevention
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Prepare progress reports and communicate with doctors or healthcare teams
5. Patient Education
- Instruct patients on home exercise programs
- Provide guidance on lifestyle changes for recovery and prevention
6. Collaboration
- Work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary

Qualifications
