Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into meaningful insights, helping improve performance, identify trends, and guide strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present insights
- Interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Use statistical techniques to identify patterns and correlations
- Support decision-making with data-driven insights
- Automate data processes where possible
- Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and presentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts
- Experience in a specific industry (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.)
