Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Homeroom Teacher to manage and support a class of students by providing academic instruction, guidance, and classroom leadership. The Homeroom Teacher will create a positive learning environment, monitor student development, and serve as the primary point of contact between students, parents, and the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the curriculum.
- Manage daily classroom activities and maintain discipline.
- Monitor students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Maintain attendance records and student progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Organize classroom activities, events, and educational projects.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification/license as required by local regulations.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
