Position Title
FS Teacher (Foundation Stage Teacher)
Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher to support the early development of young learners. The FS Teacher will provide a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that promotes children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based and structured learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for Foundation Stage students.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children’s early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Encourage learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior positively and effectively.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and progress.
- Prepare classroom materials, displays, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members.
- Participate in school meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification/license preferred.
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and learning standards.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
