ICT Teacher (Information and Communication Technology Teacher)
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated ICT Teacher to educate students in computer technology, digital literacy, and information systems. The ICT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, promote responsible technology use, and help students develop practical computing and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver ICT lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach topics such as computer applications, digital literacy, coding, internet safety, and information technology systems.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain and manage classroom technology and computer lab resources.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through technology-based learning.
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology and the internet.
- Support students with practical and project-based learning activities.
- Stay updated with current educational technology trends and tools.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification/license preferred.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and educational technology.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
