Job Title: Recruiter
Job Summary:
A Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet an organization's staffing needs. They work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and manage the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and hiring needs.
- Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and company career pages.
- Source candidates through databases, networking, referrals, and recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct phone, virtual, or in-person interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
- Assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct reference and background checks as required.
- Negotiate job offers and support onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Monitor recruitment metrics and recommend process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of recruitment techniques and employment regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Work Environment:
- Office-based, remote, or hybrid depending on the organization.
- May require occasional travel for recruitment events or campus hiring.
