HR Operations Supervisor
Job Summary
The HR Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily human resources operations, ensuring efficient HR service delivery, compliance with company policies and labor regulations, and the effective administration of employee lifecycle processes. This role supervises HR operations staff, improves HR processes, and supports organizational objectives through high-quality employee services.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily HR operations activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee records, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions.
- Monitor HR workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain HR databases and personnel files with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Manage employee documentation, contracts, and benefits administration.
- Support employee relations activities and respond to HR-related inquiries.
- Coordinate employee exit processes and conduct exit interviews when required.
Compliance and Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare documentation and reports for audits and compliance reviews.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor HR Operations team members.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused HR service environment.
HR Systems and Reporting
- Manage HRIS data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Generate regular HR metrics and reports for management.
- Analyze HR operational data and recommend improvements.
Stakeholder Support
- Collaborate with payroll, finance, recruitment, and department managers.
- Support HR projects, initiatives, and organizational change programs.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex HR operational issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of HR experience, including experience in HR operations or administration.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
