HR Executive – Payroll | Job Description
An HR Executive (Payroll) is responsible for managing employee salary processing and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee salary records, attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets, attendance sheets, and leave records.
- Prepare monthly pay slips and salary statements.
- Handle end-of-service benefits (gratuity, leave encashment, settlements) as per UAE labour law.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE labour regulations (WPS system if applicable).
- Coordinate with finance/accounting team for salary disbursement.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and HR data.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist in HR documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and salary certificates.
- Support audits by providing payroll reports and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR operations.
- Familiarity with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level) and HR/payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and confidentiality handling skills.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:

- Business Administration
- Accounting / Finance (preferred for payroll roles)
Experience
- Usually 2–5 years of experience in:
- HR payroll processing
- HR administration
- Accounting-related payroll functions
