HR Blue Collar Recruiter
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Blue Collar Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process for workforce positions such as helpers, operators, technicians, drivers, warehouse staff, production workers, and other frontline employees. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and ensuring timely hiring to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, local networks, referrals, job fairs, and field recruitment activities.
- Conduct initial screening and shortlisting of candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified blue-collar candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Verify candidate documents, employment history, and eligibility.
- Manage bulk hiring and mass recruitment drives when required.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including joining formalities and documentation.
- Build relationships with local employment agencies, vocational institutes, and community organizations.
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in blue-collar or volume hiring recruitment.
- Knowledge of recruitment channels and sourcing techniques for frontline workforce hiring.
- Familiarity with labor laws and hiring compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
