Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager – Order Fulfilment & Inventory Control is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfilment, accurate inventory management, and timely distribution of goods. The role focuses on optimizing warehouse processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading warehouse personnel to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Oversee the order fulfilment process to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and obsolete inventory.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and workflow to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Monitor key warehouse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transportation, customer service, sales, and production teams to support business operations.
- Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, and inventory tracking technologies.
- Investigate inventory variances, shipping errors, and operational issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and warehouse vendors where applicable.
- Prepare operational reports, inventory analyses, and performance dashboards for management.
- Support budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure business continuity through effective warehouse planning and risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience managing order fulfilment, inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and distribution operations.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments is preferred.

Working Conditions
